1. NEIST Jorhat signs MoU with Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC-NE),(ICMR),Dibrugarh,Assam on 19th September, 2006.For details please click here.

2. RRL Jorhat signed Memorandum of Understanding with Assam University (AU), Silchar on 18th May , 2006 with the following objectives -
(a) To establish a close linkage and functional coordination between AU and the RRL, Jorhat.
(b) To recognize the laboratory as accredited research centre for research and directed study by AU.
(c) To facilitate RRL, Jorhat professionals to pursue higher studies, research and need-based training programmes in AU through the teaching programmes of AU.
(d) To facilitate AU Faculty and Research students, to pursue their R&D Programmes in RRL, Jt under the guidance of the expert scientists at RRL, Jorhat, at PG and Post PG level.
(e) To assess and accredit the skill based training/professional programmes offered by the RRL, Jorhat, leading ultimately to acquiring degrees and diplomas in AU.
(f) To consider the qualified RRL, Jt professionals as accredited instructors/guides for the AU's teaching and research programmes.
(g) To facilitate joint seeking of funds and conduct of research, training and consultancy with industries/institutions in India/abroad.
(h) To facilitate creation / development of new experimental / computational facilities through mutual co-operation of RRL, Jorhat and AU through exchange of experts, etc.For details please click here.

3. NEIST Jorhat signs MoU(Agreement) with Margherita College, Margherita, Assam on 1st April, 2006.For details please click here.

4. RRL Jorhat signed Memorandum of Understanding with Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh (AMC, Dib) on 23rd March, 2006 with the following objectives -
(a) To establish a close linkage and functional coordination between AMC, Dib and RRL Jt.
(b) To recognize RRL Jt as accredited research center for research and directed study by AMC, Dib and its Institute of Pharmacy.
(c) To faciliate the AMC, Dib and its Institute of Pharmacy's professional to pursue their higher research in the area of various subjects of medical sciences, medicinal chemistry, natural products, phytoconsituents, pharmacological screening, medicinal plants and the areas of human welfare and need based training programme in RRL Jorhat and AMC, Dib leading to Ph D degree of the faculty and scholars to be awarded by the universities of Assam as suited to both institutions / guides.
(d) To consider the qualified scientists, scholars and professional of RRL Jt as a accredited instructor/guide for different research, teaching of AMC, Dib and its attached institutions and vice versa.
(e) To facilitate joint seeking of funds and conduct of research, submission of project for research and development, training and consultancy with university/institutions in India and abroad.
(f) RRL Jt and AMC, Dib and its Institute of Pharmacy through mutual exchange of their experts, scholars and available infrastructures shall endeavour to create/ develop new experimental and research/training facilities in the area of medical sciences, medicinal chemistry, natural products, drug development, phyto constituents, pharmacological evaluation, etc.For details please click here.

5. RRL Jorhat signed Memorandum of Understanding with POGL, Guwahati on 18th January, 2006 with the following objectives -
(a) To establish a close linkage and functional co-ordination between POGL and the RRL Jt.
(b) To utilize the infrastructure, logistics, laboratory and HRD facilities of RRL Jt in close co-ordination with POGL especially in the promising petroleum and other energy sector of the region for mutual benefit.
(c) To facilitate professionals of RRL Jt and POGL institute to develop knowledge and learning through faculty exchange programmes.
(d) To consider and depute the qualified RRL Jt professional as accredited instructors/ guides for the POGL institute and other energy development assignments.
(e) To facilitates joint seeking of funds and conduct developmental research and execution of projects, training and consultancy with industries/ institutions in India and abroad.
(f) To facilitate creation / development / trial of new experimental oil field chemical / equipment / tools and other innovative systems and procedures for contributing in enhancement of reserve, recovery, production and reduction of environmental impact on specific project to project basis for mutual gain.
(g) To create infrastructure and installation of computerized simulator systems for value created and safe surface systems and sub-surface operation and to conduct training for Quality, Safety, Health and Environment.

2005

2. RRL Jorhat signed Memorandum of Understanding with Federation of Industries & Commerce of North Eastern Region(FINER), Guwahati on 6th August, 2005 with the following objectives -
(a) Take the initiative to exchange outcomes of research and development and economic information and possibilities that that may be available from either or both to disseminate the same to the industrialists and entrepreneurs.
(b) Provide local assistance to the representatives of each other in all matters pertaining to research efforts and its transfer to industries.
(c) Sponsor and promote frequent visits of scientists to industrial units and vice- versa.
(d) Organise meetings and seminars to inform businessmen, entrepreneurs, industrialists and possibilities of utilization of development & research efforts and to indicate areas specific interest to FINER for carrying out R&D by scientists.
(e) Undertake together studies or surveys on sectors of mutual interest for conducting parties, on mutually agreed terms.

(a) To establish a close linkage and functional coordination between AAI-DU and RRL Jt.
(b) To recognize the RRL Jt as accredited research centre for research and directed study by AAI-DU.
(c) To facilitate the RRL Jt professional to pursue higher studies, research and need based training programme in RRL Jt and AAI-DU leading to Ph D Degree to be awarded by AAI-DU.
